Our Work, Case Study:
iMagic Games
Our work with iMagic Games spans game development, LiveOps planning, paid media, influencer marketing, brand partnerships, content creation, community building, PR and media relations, positioning, launch strategy and ongoing player growth.

Our involvement extends well beyond traditional marketing. We work directly across the games themselves, identifying opportunities for new features, content updates, refreshed positioning, stronger store presence, community-led development and new player acquisition campaigns.

The focus is on giving players genuine reasons to discover, return to and talk about iMagic Games, while building the foundations for the brand's next generation of releases.
Game development, publishing strategy and full-funnel marketing. From refreshing existing titles and planning major updates to creating entirely new reasons for players to return, vMarketer works across both the product and marketing sides of the business.
Product & Publisher Revival

Legendary game publisher John "Bill" Stealey, co-founder of MicroProse in 1982 and leader of iMagic Games / iEntertainment Network, approached vMarketer to help revive and reposition the iMagic Games brand after seeing the work and commercial success we had achieved with MicroProse.

iMagic Games has a long history in combat simulation, strategy and military-focused games, with a catalogue and brand familiar to generations of PC gamers. The opportunity was not simply to market old games again. It was to determine what the brand could become today, which titles and IP had renewed potential, and how to reconnect that heritage with a modern gaming audience.

Modernising Respected Games
We support iMagic Games with production planning for remakes of its established back catalogue, helping modernise each title while retaining what made the original experience distinctive. This includes UI and UX layouts, player flows, usability improvements and gameplay refinement.
Creating New Reasons to Play
We identify new game modes, creator-friendly moments and stronger gameplay hooks that make each title more relevant, discoverable and shareable. The goal is to bring respected games into the modern era while giving both returning fans and new players a compelling reason to play.

Bringing older games back to life for a new generation of players is a privilege not many (if any) game marketing agencies get to lead. We led the charge to bring this epic tank game, Tank Brigade, back to life.
